H is for Howdy, O I'm glad to see you...

The Howdy Band takes different forms, but always with the same goal....to make every person feel like they are in the Band - no matter age or musical experience. Sometimes solo, or with other musicians, expect our laid back approach as educators and facilitators to provide a memorable music experience. Jamtown John plays original uke, piano and drum tunes. Expect free-wheeling original compositions with a good dose of audience input plus a few surprises too. We'll share Jamtown instruments as appropriate for the venue (Boomwacker sound tubes and Sun Moon Star Drums, for example.)

The Jamtown Howdy Band performs at events around the Puget Sound region including NW Folklife, Bellevue Movie Nights, Alki Art Fest, Seattle Libraries, Phinney Ridge Romp, and private venues. We organize and facilitate cooperative music performances and events around the Puget Sound region and beyond.
