Jamtown travels the globe in search of cool musical instruments. We have seen great diversity through our travels to developing countries over the years. One conclusion is that people are more alike than different. Our likenesses outweigh our difference by a wide margin. With this small percussion workshop, we reinforce the beauty and power of diversity using the Five Voices of Percussion. A rhythm orchestra holds flavors, spices and colors that create a sound bath beyond the reach of an all-drum ensemble, for example.
